Elements for my painting include several layers of acrylic paint, vinyl, composite, oil stick and polymer. Each painting is heavily textured, sanded and then coated with a protective polymer that makes my work archival.
I work with silhouettes of trees, crows, farm animals and, most recently, figurative multi-layered imagery. I am self-taught and my life experiences are loosely represented in my paintings. Most importantly my work is intended to be light-hearted and thought provoking.
