Modern Design

The Modern is having another contest. Given that 90% of the staff has some kind of formal art background -the next contest will be a design contest. This contest is only open to Modern Staff. However the winner will be determined by you…

The challenge is to design a miniature piece of furniture from recycled keycards, champagne wire & coasters. Each participant will “buy” into the contest. Contestants will collectively commission the winning piece to be hand build by a regional furniture maker. Contestants will have one month to design and construct their item. Contest begins Dec. 1^st.
