When designing the Modern Bar we envisioned a grownup space with great cocktails and all fresh ingredients. A friendly but stylish sort of establishment with knowledgeable bartenders, new music and good wine. We expected it to be small and intimate. We never anticipated how popular the bar would become. We now have bartenders whose cocktails are featured in the New York Times, a regular local crowd, a summer music series in the courtyard and hotel guests who feel a part of what’s happening in Boise.
Our kitchen provides our guests with simple, elegant bar food. Our talented chef prepares delectable meals that showcase produce and meats grown by local farmers and ranchers. We have food that rivals the better restaurants in much larger cities. When the weather is fine, townies and hotel guests socialize on our outdoor patio and listen to local music while enjoying the best food and drink Boise has to offer.
