As part of CCDC’s Rebuild Linen Blocks on Grove Street, the Agency partnered with non-profit organization Signs of Our Times, the Boise City Department of Arts & History, and a talented group of restoration and installation professionals, to restore and install six historic Boise neon signs that will be incorporated into an open-air gallery.
The restoration of the signs began in mid-June 2024, with completed installation slated for fall 2024. Rebuild Linen Blocks on Grove Street is a CCDC funded project making community-driven infrastructure and place-making improvements along Grove Street between 9th Street and 16th Street. The historic neon sign gallery will be located on the north side of Grove Street between 12th Street and 13th Street.
