Modern, Txikiteo Easing into Opening

The Modern Hotel and its sister restaurant, Txikiteo, will be opening in stages beginning June 1, with heightened measures in place that follow CDC and American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) guidelines regarding Covid-19.

The Modern Bar and Restaurant, will begin offering select items from their food and beverage menu for twice-a-week, contact-less curbside pick up or delivery. Beginning May 1, customers can order on themodernbar.com for Tuesday and Friday service. The Modern is known for its emphasis on community engagement, and on top-notch, locally-sourced ingredients.

Modern Hotel, Txikiteo Close Temporarily During Public Health Crisis

We are closely following each new development in the progression of the Covid-19 pandemic and have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the Modern and Txikiteo. We believe this is the most responsible action to take in the face of this new and growing public health crisis. We all know that health care workers are on the front lines treating the sick; our job in the hospitality industry is to do everything we can to make sure people stay healthy in the first place.
