Please join us next Thursday, January 11th, at 6pm in the gallery (or live stream via Instagram) for a conversation between artists William D. Lewis and Alex Carver. The two plan to dig deep into Lewis’ new work — Twenty Blue Paintings and Two Heads of Silver — currently on view in the gallery. This collection of oil paintings, works on paper, and two small silver sculptures is a rich and colorful parade of enigmatic, often somber, sometimes bodiless, contemplative characters. We’ll have refreshments and the exhibition catalogue with essay by Jacqueline Crist available for purchase. (Scroll down for catalogue details.) The gallery is open M-F, 9-5 or by appointments, and late on January 11th for those who want to wander thru before the talk. All are welcome.
