We’re excited to announce new artwork for our Infinite Scroll and in The Modern Bar!
Erin Cunningham’s ‘Bedtime Stories’ will be on display at the Modern beginning this June. You can find the work on our Infinite Scroll out front and in The Modern Bar dining room!
The work is about the visual poetry of the sleeping body, the trust and comfort that comes from seeing other sleep and the vulnerability that arises from leaving the conscious world. The subjects are partners, friends, and students who became models and slept in the artist’s studio.
An opening reception will be held in Room #116 (just off the courtyard) on Thursday, June 6 from 5-8pm. Brion Rushton will be present with a set of music to accompany the work.
