Thank you to all of our amazing guests who have been incredibly understanding and supportive during the downtown construction. The streetscape improvements in front of the hotel are finished, and our Grove street entrance is open once again. Check it out below!
With this phase completed, the CCDC has moved on to the next phase: Improving Grove street between 14th and 15th streets.
Currently, Grove Street between 14th and 15th streets is closed to vehicle traffic with pedestrian detours in effect.
Business Access:
- The Modern Hotel and Bar’s Grove Street lobby and front parking lot entrance on Grove Street is accessible from 13th Street. Alley parking behind the hotel may be accessed from 13th Street or southbound 14th street;
- The Linen Building, Hidden Crow Tattoo, Maren Baker Design, and Pepper Design Co. are accessible via the alley north of Grove Street;
- Access to Scenic. the Storied Home and Hops and Bottles is from northbound 15th Street;
- Vehicles heading to Cosmo Prof, Outdoor Exchange, Crazy Neighbor, Liquor Store, and Second Chance Building Materials Center should enter the parking lot via 14th Street and exit onto Grove Street, traveling westbound toward 15th Street;
- Sidewalks are open and accessible to all pedestrian traffic. Detour signs are in place around the 14th and Grove streets intersection.
