Votes are tallied, and it’s official: for the tenth year in a row, Boise Weekly’s Best of Boise voters have named the Modern Boise’s Best Hotel —and this year a record 300,000 ballots were cast. In this category, no other venue has come close.
The contest is sponsored by the paper every spring. Winners were announced May 29, and in its segment the publication was quick to point out that The Modern continues to take home the prize despite a number of new contenders in the city. “Four new hotels have opened in Boise in the past two years. A fifth is under construction…Amidst all the new kids on the block, The Modern reigns supreme.”
