In an effort to provide a safe environment for hotel guests and the facility’s limited staff, the indoor bar at the Modern Hotel lobby and indoor bar area will be open to hotel guests only during the Treefort weekend, September 24-25. The Modern patio will be open to the public as usual, including to Treefort attendees.
We hope to host Camp Modern again, with our stage, the specialty foods and drinks, and all the things we love to do during Treefort. It just wasn’t possible to do safely this year.
The Modern will staff host stands outside the bar to reduce confusion and direct guests to available patio seating, restroom facilities, and the like.
The indoor bar and patio will be open to the public as usual on Thursday, September 23, from 4 to 10 p.m. The indoor bar will be closed to the general public, with patio service only for non-hotel guests, on Friday and Saturday, September 24-25, from 2 p.m. to midnight. Sunday hours will return to normal.
